It is painted in several layers and allowed to develop organically without any preconceived direction. The result is an expressive work that leaves the viewer free to experience the work on a purely emotional level. The focus of his work is on texture and abstract colour compositions. Most are based on traditional media and techniques, such as canvas, paper, wood panel, painted with acrylic and mixed media. Colours, surface structures and textures of the environment and nature, creating new abstract compositions or restructured textured paintings. One focus of his work is reduced paintings in colour and texture.
