About the artist
We are all different and yet so alike
Ute Bruno's motivation is to capture people and moments that are not noticed and seen by the masses.
I want to convey the magic behind every person's story and make their soul visible.

Ute Bruno, born in Germany in 1962, currently lives between Luxembourg and Italy.
In 1987 she completed her Master's degree in photography at the Heinz Bindseil School in Hamburg. Her favourite motifs are people and landscapes, which she discovers on her many travels, such as in Ghana, Japan, Cuba, China, Mongolia, among others.
Despite the social and political difficulties of various countries, Ute tries to show life under its positive and happy aspects. Ute Bruno is not restricted to one photographic style, from classical and documentary to experimental photography. Ute often uses an unconventional approach when taking her photographs.
Ute Bruno also loves landscapes, which she depicts in an abstract and mysterious way to draw the viewer's attention to details of the wonderful and mysterious nature.
It motivates me to achieve that people can linger longer in front of my photographs and discover the mysterious worlds of nature in them.
Whether human or nature, it is always my concern to bring out the soul and an emotion, to elicit an emphatic feeling from the viewer.
