Here, more light reflects on the water, so the colours are brighter and go slightly into pastel turquoise, dove blue and white. The flowers are pink and pink and lie playfully against the sleepy, mostly light green leaves painted also with a hint of yellow. The submerged leaves have been created in a dark brown-red-pink and dark green. It is so soothing to look at them and watch the gurgling water. The flowers are painted almost photorealistically, whereas the upper part of the painting begins to dissolve and become semi-abstract. The sunset sets in and bathes the scene in light bright orange with light pink. She is passionate about capturing light on water in any form with brush and palette knife. Sandra hopes that the viewer of her paintings will feel calm and relaxed, able to let go and dream.Format:
