Marija Constantinou

MARIJA CONSTANTINOU is an artist born in Serbia and living in Cyprus. Her interest in art began at a very young age. She had taken lessons in classical painting, drawing and stained-glass from several renowned Serbian artists, but her true passion is abstract painting. She is a trained nurse, but decided to give up this profession in 2008 to pursue her artistic career. She enjoys discovering new techniques and express herself through her work. Her works are expressive, dynamic and colourful. They depict her thoughts and feelings while painting and are strongly influenced by the music she listens to during the painting process. Art is a way of life for her, a never-ending source of strength that keeps her going ... She has collaborated with numerous interior designers and sold her works worldwide.
